My work is autobiographical, exploring the intimacies of living with chronic pain. As both artist and patient, I am developing meditative processes of art making that sit within practices such as printing, sculpture, casting, letterpress, performance and film. These processes create physical narratives of my experience of illness and sense of self, externalising the internal. The body but also the domestic space are important components of my work, and indeed how they relate to and recount one another.
Most recently, my work has explored the therapeutic benefits of metal casting as a process of alchemic ritual.
